COVID-19 Update from Human Resources

Dear Colleagues:

As you may know, Governor Polis and Denver Mayor Hancock have extended the “stay-at-home” orders through April 30.  Regis employees, so many of whom are working hard from home, will continue to be paid through this period of social distancing. Employees who need to use sick, vacation or mission leave may continue to do so. The University also will continue to provide for some employees who are unable to perform their duties off campus.

We will continue to look for further guidance from the governor and mayor in regard to when we all can return to campus. We will communicate this information to you as we learn more and I look forward to the time we will all be back together.

We appreciate the continued great work that is being done, in a variety of ways, by all employees to support our students and our University. On this Holy Thursday, please see Fr. Fitzgibbons’ Community Easter Message of encouragement as we celebrate this Easter season with peace, hope and joy.

Wishing each of you a blessed Easter.

Be well,

Liz Whitmore
